Clarus is a fast-growing UK based Logistic SaaS company (35 FTE) providing cloud-based warehouse management software. As part of its international expansion, they're etestablishing it's first commercial presence in the Benelux.
Challenge
As we're UK based, we only had one employee on the ground in the Benelux when we began our expansion. Our first priority was hiring 2 Business Development Representatives to support the head of Benelux breaking into the market. Finding junior Dutch sales talent with the autonomy, ownership and communication skills required for a startup environment proved challenging however.
Result
Within six weeks, we managed to hire two Business Development Representatives. Rather than focusing purely on experience, they identified candidates with the mindset, resilience and soft skills needed to succeed in an early-stage environment.
