Katapult was born out of frustration. When Bill Chatfield tried to scale Lepaya’s UK SaaS sales team, recruiters delivered volume, not quality.

CVs missed the mark, and agencies didn’t know what “good” looked like.

He didn’t need more candidates, just the right ones.

That frustration became Katapult: recruiters with real SaaS experience who know how to spot top talent.

Our first year

Katapult celebrates its first birthday.

In our first full year of trading, Katapult onboarded 25+ SaaS partners, hit 10.000 followers on LinkedIn, and made over 50 placements.

October 2024

Katapult now

The team grew to 5 FTE and continues to expand. As Katapult’s reputation grew, we larger, enterprise-scale clients, supporting their sales hiring across Europe, including Germany, Belgium and Nordics.

Katapult gained traction, as many SaaS leaders saw the value in our ‘score in four’ approach.

Tasked with growing the UK market he needed specific domain knowledge, SaaS skills, and market experience. After onboarding several agencies, Bill found himself flooded with CVs and pushbacks on candidates that weren’t good enough.  Most recruiters didn’t know what ‘good’ looked like.

He didn’t need more candidates, he needed the right ones. That problem became a process: score in four. You’ll work with recruiters who know what good looks like, because they’ve worked in SaaS themselves.
